ABOUT Joseph
From an early age, I had a fascination with space and engineering from watching Star Trek with my father. I loved imagining great machines and devices (especially ones that could fly) and enjoyed building them out of LEGOS and K'NEX. When it came time to choose a college major, I remember my father telling me "the world could always use more engineers." This inspired me to begin down the path to a college engineering degree.

While in school, I worked in the restaurant industry and developed the numerous valuable skills involved with these jobs. I learned how to multitask, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. I've worked in supportive roles like backwaiting and kitchen expo as well as leadership roles when I was a Floor Manager at a popular wine bar in Los Gatos, CA. The knowledge gained from these roles prepared me to work as a server in one of the top restaurants in San Francisco while I attended SFSU.

I've also been a musician since I was 11 and enjoy playing music and cooking in my spare time. I've collaborated on a number of projects with people of all different backgrounds and personality types. I always enjoy an opportunity to bring my creative eye into my engineering work.
